I spent the last seven years as a teacher in P.E.I.'s public schools before deciding to make a change and follow my passion in writing, creating videos, and telling stories.

These days my time is spent researching, interviewing, and developing my stories for my program. I am also enjoying improving my photography skills.

​

Outside of the newsroom, you can find me raving (and ranting) about movies on my YouTube channel, walking my dog, and looking for the next big story.

My Goals

​

I am aiming to improve my writing and video skills so I can tell stories for audiences across all forms of media.

 

Professionally, I hope to work in communications so I can explore beyond my comfort zone and tell stories I may not be used to working on, and which will positively impact community members.

​

On a personal level, one of my biggest interests is entertainment, which I have spent a lot of time covering on my YouTube channel. I plan to improve my storytelling for my channel as well, so I can continue to hone my skills outside of work in an area I enjoy.
